Created originally to accompany the book, the CD infuses timeless patriotic and war-time songs with new life and meaning.

Remembrance: A Musical Tribute to America's Veterans is a remarkable collection of songs and musicians. The songs from America's past explore the depth of emotions shared by soldiers and those who loved them - from loss and longing to pride in work and country and a fierce love of America and freedom.

The Remembrance Sessions

The CD includes original renditions of classics such as "God Bless America", "Rally Round the Flag", "Soldier's Joy", "I'll Be With You in Apple Blossom Time", "Amazing Grace" and many more. All of the songs are arranged and performed by a unique group of acoustic musicians, including Remembrance author Rob Fletcher, and also features readings by Pulitzer-prize winning poet Louis Simpson, and, in an unprecedented recording, "The Welder" by Irene Carlisle (a.k.a. "Rosie the Riveter").
